one of the most important fuel cells (fcs) is proton exchange membrane fuel cells (pemfcs). the outputvoltage of this fc depends on current loads. this paper tries to introduce, implement and control the voltage ofpemfc, during load variations. the output voltage of fuel cell should be constant during load variation. toachieve this goal, a controller should be designed. here, the lead-lag controller is used which its coefficientsare optimized based on pso algorithms. in order to use this algorithm, first this problem has to be formulatedas an optimization problem, including objective function and constraints, and then to obtain the most desirablecontroller, pso method is used to solve the problem. simulation results for various loads in the time domain areperformed and the results show the capability of the proposed controller. simulations show the accuracy of theproposed controller performance to achieve this goal. one of the most important fuel cells (fcs) is proton exchange Auto-tuning of Fractional Lead-lag Compensators

In this paper, a method for auto-tuning of a fractional order leadlag compensator using relay feedback tests is proposed. A design method for this kind of compensators is discussed, based on the magnitude and phase measurement of the plant to be controlled from relay feedback tests at a frequency of interest. Simple relationships among the parameters of this fractional controller are establishe...

A PSO-Tuning Method for Design of Fuzzy PID Controllers

A novel tuning method is proposed for the design of fuzzy PID controllers for multivariable systems. In the proposed method, a PID controller is expressed in terms of fuzzy rules, in which the input variables are the error signals and their derivatives, while the output variables are the PID gains. In this manner, the PID gains are adaptive and the fuzzy PID controller has more flexibility and ...

Self-organizing genetic algorithm based tuning of PID controllers

This paper proposes a self-organizing genetic algorithm (SOGA) with good global search properties and a high convergence speed. First, we introduce a new dominant selection operator that enhances the action of the dominant individuals, along with a cyclical mutation operator that periodically varies the mutation probability in accordance with evolution generation found in biological evolutionar...
